Ceramic figure, approx 14inches . I really would like to make some more of this type of ceramics. Fired 'Raku' in sawdust. This is an old photo sorry for the quality.

Stairwell virus: electronic installation'

Installation from a stairwell. Plastic and electronics represent a virus in a system. The unit was activated by sensors as people approached, lit up and recorded (on a long tape loop hanging from below) what people said as they passed. The loop returned and added subsequent recordings that 'built up' creating a new and unique narrative. The virus therefore made itself 'usefull' and was tolerated by the system.
